Supporting Educators. Strengthening Classrooms. Nurturing Wellbeing.
At Pathway To Inner Freedom, we believe that supporting student wellbeing begins with empowering the professionals who guide, teach and care for them.
Our trauma-informed professional development workshops combine practical knowledge, sensory-based strategies and experiential learning to help educators respond confidently to challenging behaviours, support student regulation and nurture their own wellbeing.
Designed for professionals across early childhood, primary, secondary, special education and alternative education settings, our three workshops can be delivered individually or combined to meet the needs of your organisation.
From understanding trauma to practical classroom strategies and personal wellbeing, our focus is on creating safer, calmer and more connected learning environments.
Recognise the Signs. Understand the Triggers. Respond with Confidence.
Aggression, withdrawal, defiance and unpredictable behaviour can sometimes reflect underlying distress or trauma responses.
This workshop helps educators look beyond the behaviour to understand what may be happening for the student and respond in ways that prioritise safety, connection and emotional regulation.
Participants will explore:
Outcome: Greater confidence in recognising distress, reducing escalation and supporting students while maintaining a safe learning environment for everyone.
Simple Activities. Practical Skills. Meaningful Support.
Teachers need strategies they can use when a student becomes overwhelmed, distressed or unable to engage in learning.
This hands-on workshop introduces accessible sensory-based activities, with a particular focus on Guided Drawing, to support emotional regulation, self-awareness and classroom engagement.
Participants will learn:
Outcome: A practical toolkit of trauma-informed activities educators can incorporate into everyday classroom practice.
Pause. Reconnect. Restore.
Supporting others can be emotionally demanding, particularly when working with children and young people experiencing distress, trauma or challenging behaviours.
This experiential Guided Drawing workshop provides educators and other professionals with an opportunity to step away from daily pressures and reconnect with their own wellbeing.
Through gentle, sensory-based drawing activities, participants are invited to explore emotional awareness, release tension through creative expression and discover practical strategies for relaxation and self-regulation.
Participants will experience:
No artistic experience is necessary.
Outcome: An opportunity for personal restoration, greater self-awareness and practical self-care strategies that can be incorporated into everyday life.
Because those who care for others deserve opportunities to care for themselves, too.
